Meet Maria
My diverse personal and professional journey has uniquely defined the compassionate approach I offer women today. Starting in mental health and adult nursing, I transitioned into midwifery and earned an honours degree in Public Health Nursing as a Health Visitor, later advancing into senior leadership within the NHS.
Across every role—whether I was providing clinical care, guiding families, or leading strategic change—my core philosophy never wavered: I prioritise the individual over the diagnosis.
I firmly believe that we are integrated beings. Our history, connections, feelings, and physical health are deeply woven together, and past events often leave imprints on us that we might not yet understand.

During my final years in the NHS, I trained as a Business and Personal Coach.

That became a turning point.

It opened a door into something I had been moving towards for years: supporting people not only through their circumstances, but through the deeper process of change, identity and possibility.

Eventually, it gave me the confidence to step away from the NHS and become an independent personal coach.

Today, I bring together my professional experience, coaching skills and my own lived experience to support women navigating the often-complex terrain of life.

Holistic perspective forms the foundation of my coaching practice, ensuring you feel truly seen while we navigate your path toward healing and clarity together.

Coming back to rural Northumberland has renewed my sense of belonging, a return that feels like exhaling. It means I can offer in‑person sessions locally, as well as online support for any woman ready to walk her own gentle path of change, wherever she may be on her journey.
